Blinds, curtains & shutters in Preston
Preston has a Georgian core around Winckley Square, dense Victorian terraces beyond it, and newer development running out towards the Ribble.
Windows in Preston
What we usually find here
The Georgian squares mean tall sash windows with slim glazing bars. Shutters and full-length curtains both suit that proportion; wide rollers rarely do.

Questions from Preston
Do you fit blinds in Preston?
Yes. Preston is on our regular Lancashire route. Everything is made to your measurements at our Batley, West Yorkshire workshop and installed by our own fitters.
How does a home visit in Preston work?
An advisor comes to you with the full range, helps you choose room by room, measures every window and gives you a written price including fitting before they leave. It is free and there is no obligation.
Is fitting included in the price?
Yes. Measuring and fitting are included in the quoted price, and every blind, shutter and motor carries a 1-year guarantee.
How far is Preston from your workshop?
About 44 miles in a straight line from our workshop in Batley, West Yorkshire. Distance doesn't change how it works: the advisor comes to you on our Lancashire visiting days, and everything is made in Batley to your measurements and fitted by our own team.
Which postcodes do you cover around Preston?
Preston sits in Lancashire, where postcodes start PR, BB, FY, LA, BL, OL. Give us your full postcode and we will confirm the visiting days and arrival windows for your street.
Can you make blackout blinds for a Preston bedroom?
Yes. Blackout fabric is available across roller, roman, vertical and pleated blinds, and where you need genuine darkness — a nursery or a shift worker's room — the advisor will talk you through side channels and a face fit that covers the frame instead of sitting inside the reveal.
Do you fit shutters and curtains in Preston as well as blinds?
Yes — Preston appointments cover blinds, curtains, shutters and garage doors on the same visit, so one advisor can measure and price the whole house rather than you booking three separate companies.
Can I have motorised blinds fitted in Preston?
Yes. Battery motors need no wiring and are the usual choice for tall or hard-to-reach glass; hard-wired motors are possible where there is already a supply. The advisor confirms which suits each window on the day.
How long does fitting take in a Preston home?
Most homes are done in a single visit. Our own fitter brings everything made to your measurements, fits it, checks every blind operates properly and takes the packaging away with them.
Do you offer finance on a Preston order?
Finance is available on orders — the advisor can show you the options and monthly figures in writing at the appointment before you commit to anything.
