Optional Facebook and Instagram advertising measurement

Optional advertising: share page visits, product views, contact-link clicks, saved enquiries and confirmed appointments with Meta (Facebook and Instagram) for advertising measurement and optimisation. With consent, submitted contact details are hashed for matching; cookie IDs, IP and browser information are shared. Rejecting does not affect your booking. Change or withdraw using Cookie preferences.

Marketing is off by default. No Meta Pixel, Meta advertising cookies or Conversions API events are sent before you explicitly accept advertising. Essential booking operations still work if you reject. Our existing Google Ads and SoudCoh integrations are separate and this advertising choice controls the Meta integration.

When you accept, Meta Platforms receives public page visits, product views, actual phone/email/WhatsApp link clicks (not answered calls), enquiry starts, successfully saved enquiries, and appointments once the office confirms them with a date and time. Choosing a date or submitting an enquiry does not count as a confirmed appointment.

For matching, submitted email, phone, first and last name, postcode, a city only if genuinely collected, GB country and a random visitor identifier are normalised and SHA-256 hashed on our server. Hashing does not make this information anonymous. Meta also receives the original browser’s IP address, user agent, genuine _fbp/_fbc cookie identifiers and a safe public page address. Advertising campaign attribution is stored with the enquiry; we do not send street addresses, free-text notes, date of birth or gender.

We keep a record of the visitor’s choice, date, notice version and region, including previous acceptance if consent is later withdrawn. Advertising cookies can last up to 90 days, and the essential preference cookie up to one year. Our server retains the permission and event delivery evidence needed to honour withdrawals and investigate delivery. Meta processes shared information under its own privacy policy and Business Tools Terms; this can involve international transfers.

Change or withdraw at any time using Cookie preferences below or in the footer. Withdrawal stops new browser events and cancels unsent server events for that visitor; it cannot recall events already delivered. If you use a different device, cleared cookies, or a later CRM enquiry, contact us so we can associate your withdrawal with the original record. We do not retrospectively upload existing customer records.
