Style notes
What Nucleus is like, and where it works
This listing is called Nucleus and is filed under blinds, but the image supplied shows a house frontage with a garage door and front door rather than a window covering. We can't describe the product itself from this photo.
The photo shows a house exterior with a dark front door, a sectional garage door and a window, not a blind of any kind.

- pale render or plaster walls
- dark grey window frames and doors
- concrete or gravel driveways
Ideas for your home
Made-to-measure blinds for a modern-minimal home
A pared-back entrance with pale walls and dark grey woodwork, where simple window coverings would suit the clean lines.
The neutral palette and straight lines shown in the photo lend themselves to understated window treatments.
Made-to-measure blinds for a contemporary living room
A light, plainly decorated room with large windows, where a simple blind would complement pale walls and dark frames.
Simple, unfussy coverings work well against the kind of clean exterior architecture shown here.
- The colour list for this range gives 'Ribbed' as an option, suggesting a textured finish, though this cannot be confirmed from the photo supplied.
- The colour facet lists 'Striped blinds', which points to a striped pattern, but the image shown does not display this.

Questions we get asked
The data for this range points to a ribbed texture and a striped colourway, though the photo supplied shows a house exterior rather than the blind itself. A free sample or a home appointment is the best way to see the actual fabric and pattern.
No rooms are tagged for this range yet, so we can't confirm specific recommendations. An advisor visiting your home can show you the fabric against your own windows and suggest where it would work best.
Yes, free fabric samples can be posted to you, and an advisor can also bring samples to your home as part of a free appointment, which is the most reliable way to judge the ribbed texture and colour in person.
A local advisor visits your home with samples, measures every window precisely and quotes on the spot. Once you're happy, our fitter installs them at a time that suits you — measuring and fitting are included free.
Lead times depend on the range, fabric and any customisation. Your advisor will confirm an exact lead time at the measuring appointment so you know precisely when to expect installation.
Yes — every made-to-measure blind, shutter and motor comes with a 1-year guarantee covering manufacturing defects.
Yes. Pick up to 5 colours you'd like to see and your local advisor will bring those exact swatches to your free home visit so you can see and feel them in your own light. They'll also bring a full range on the day if you'd like to compare more.
