How vertical blinds work
Tap a number to see what each part does, and what you'll be choosing at your appointment.
1. Headrail
Each louvre clips to a carrier in the headrail, which turns them all together and draws them along.
Your advisor brings samples of every option to your window, so you can see and feel them before you choose.
Why this range
What Isolde does well
01
Built as vertical blinds
Cut and finished as vertical blinds for your exact window, rather than trimmed down from a stock size. The mechanism is sized to the drop, so it hangs straight and stays that way.
02
Chosen for real rooms
Customers most often put this range in bay window blinds — which is a better guide than any spec sheet.
03
Measured and fitted by us
One team measures, makes and installs. If something isn't right, there's nobody to pass you on to — we come back and sort it.
Style notes
What Isolde is like, and where it works
Isolde is a patterned vertical blind with a watercolour floral design in gold on a white ground. The louvre format suits wide windows and patio doors, and the pattern brings colour to a room while the individual slats still allow the light to be adjusted. A relaxed choice for conservatories, dining rooms or living spaces that could use a lift of colour without a heavy print.
A soft white ground scattered with a loose, watercolour-style floral in golden yellow, with fine hand-drawn stems in a muted green. The louvres have a smooth, slightly textured woven finish.

Fits a dining room with a wooden table and painted chairs, where the yellow floral sits comfortably against white or pale grey walls.
