How a venetian blind works
Tap a number to see what each part does, and what you'll be choosing at your appointment.
1. Headrail
Holds the lift and tilt mechanism across the top of the window.
Your advisor brings samples of every option to your window, so you can see and feel them before you choose.
Why this range
What Natural Taupe Metal Venetian Venetian Blinds does well
01
Built as venetian blinds
Cut and finished as venetian blinds for your exact window, rather than trimmed down from a stock size. The mechanism is sized to the drop, so it hangs straight and stays that way.
02
Specified, not guessed
This range is listed for waterproof blinds. If a window needs something this range can't do, your advisor will say so and show you one that can.
03
Chosen for real rooms
Customers most often put this range in dining room, conservatory — which is a better guide than any spec sheet.

Ideas for your home
Made-to-measure venetian blinds for a kitchen window
Fitted above a sink with white metro tiles and pale cabinetry, where the slats can be angled to soften bright daylight while washing up.
The metal slats are easy to angle for light control over a busy worktop or sink.
Made-to-measure venetian blinds for a conservatory
Suits a conservatory with plenty of glass, where the slats can be tilted through the day as the sun moves round.
Listed as waterproof, making it a practical choice for the humidity and condensation conservatories can bring.
Made-to-measure venetian blinds for a dining room
Works well on a dining room window with warm wood furniture, giving a tailored finish that doesn't compete with the table setting.
The neutral taupe tone is calm enough to sit behind a dining table without drawing attention.
- Listed as waterproof, suiting kitchens, conservatories and bathrooms.
- Slats tilt fully for adjustable light and privacy rather than just up-and-down operation.
- Available with lift and tilt cords as shown, for manual control.
