Why this range

What Fernwood does well

01

Built as venetian blinds

Cut and finished as venetian blinds for your exact window, rather than trimmed down from a stock size. The mechanism is sized to the drop, so it hangs straight and stays that way.

02

10 colourways to compare

Colour behaves differently in north light, in the evening and against your walls. Pick the ones you like here and your advisor brings those exact swatches to the visit.

03

Chosen for real rooms

Customers most often put this range in bay window blinds, bedroom blinds, kitchen blinds — which is a better guide than any spec sheet.

Style notes

What Fernwood is like, and where it works

Fernwood is a wooden Venetian blind with broad horizontal slats, shown here in warm oak and walnut tones as well as crisp white. The slats tilt to control light and privacy while keeping the window's shape visible, suiting bay windows, kitchens and living rooms alike.

Wide horizontal slats in warm wood tones, from pale honey oak to deep walnut brown, with a smooth painted or stained finish and a matching pull cord and tilt wand. The white-painted version has the same broad slat look in crisp white.

Pairs well with

  • oak or walnut furniture
  • white or pale painted woodwork
  • neutral carpets and linen soft furnishings

Ideas for your home

  • Made-to-measure wooden blinds for a bay window living room

A neutral living room with pale carpets and soft furnishings, where a bay window benefits from slats that tilt to soften low sun without hiding the outlook.

The wide slats fill a multi-pane bay neatly while keeping the tailored, symmetrical look of the window.

  • Made-to-measure Venetian blinds for a warm-toned study

A room with wooden shelving and evening light, where dark wood slats echo existing furniture and cabinetry.

The deep wood tone works with existing timber pieces and takes on a rich colour as light passes through the slats.

  • Made-to-measure wooden blinds for a kitchen window seat

A kitchen with white cabinetry, open shelving and a window seat, where a mid-tone wood blind adds warmth against painted surfaces.

The oak tone brings a natural material into a kitchen without competing with white units and metal fittings.

  • Wide wooden slats tilt fully closed for privacy or angled to let light in while the window shape stays visible.
  • Available in ten colours from pale oak through to dark walnut and painted white or grey finishes.
  • An advisor measures the window on a home visit and fits the blind once made.
