How vertical blinds work
Tap a number to see what each part does, and what you'll be choosing at your appointment.
1. Headrail
Each louvre clips to a carrier in the headrail, which turns them all together and draws them along.
Your advisor brings samples of every option to your window, so you can see and feel them before you choose.
Why this range
What Lyon Vertical Blinds does well
01
Built as vertical blinds
Cut and finished as vertical blinds for your exact window, rather than trimmed down from a stock size. The mechanism is sized to the drop, so it hangs straight and stays that way.
02
6 colourways to compare
Colour behaves differently in north light, in the evening and against your walls. Pick the ones you like here and your advisor brings those exact swatches to the visit.
03
Chosen for real rooms
Customers most often put this range in bathroom blinds, bedroom blinds, children's blinds — which is a better guide than any spec sheet.
Style notes
What Lyon Vertical Blinds is like, and where it works
A made-to-measure vertical blind range with a plain look and a softly textured finish. The clean lines suit wide windows and glazed doors, and the neutral colour palette works easily in dining rooms, living rooms, bedrooms and conservatories.
Plain vertical blinds shown in a light beige and a very dark brown-black tone. The vanes have a soft matt finish, and the close-up suggests a subtle horizontal texture in the fabric.

Questions we get asked
From the photos, Lyon is a plain vertical blind with a soft matt surface and a light horizontal texture in the fabric. It is shown in a light beige and a very dark shade, giving the range a simple, tailored look rather than a shiny or heavily patterned one.
The straightforward design makes it easy to use in a dining room, living room, bedroom or conservatory. Lighter colours such as Beige, Cream or White keep things airy, while Black or Brown give the window a more defined, graphic look.
You can ask for up to five free fabric samples to compare the shades at home. If you would rather see the options in your own room, an advisor can visit with samples, measure each window and provide a written price.
A local advisor visits your home with samples, measures every window precisely and quotes on the spot. Once you're happy, our fitter installs them at a time that suits you — measuring and fitting are included free.
Lead times depend on the range, fabric and any customisation. Your advisor will confirm an exact lead time at the measuring appointment so you know precisely when to expect installation.
