How it's made
How a pleated blind works
Tap a number to see what each part does, and what you'll be choosing at your appointment.
1. Top rail that moves
On a top-down, bottom-up blind both rails move, so you can cover the lower panes for privacy and keep the sky.
Your advisor brings samples of every option to your window, so you can see and feel them before you choose.
Why this range
What Refuge does well
01
Built as conservatory roof blinds
Cut and finished as conservatory roof blinds for your exact window, rather than trimmed down from a stock size. The mechanism is sized to the drop, so it hangs straight and stays that way.
02
2 colourways to compare
Colour behaves differently in north light, in the evening and against your walls. Pick the ones you like here and your advisor brings those exact swatches to the visit.
03
Chosen for real rooms
Customers most often put this range in bay window blinds, bedroom blinds, french door blinds — which is a better guide than any spec sheet.
Style notes
What Refuge is like, and where it works
Refuge is a pleated blind with a crisp concertina fold, shown here fitted to standard windows and across a conservatory roof. It has a soft, understated texture rather than pattern, and works well where a blind needs to sit close and neat against the glass, including angled or awkward shapes.
A finely pleated, honeycomb-style fabric shown in a warm sandy beige and a soft grey, both plain and unpatterned with a neat concertina texture that catches the light in fine horizontal lines.
