Explained
Green blinds, explained
Green blinds covers a broad mix of made-to-measure styles rather than one blind type. In this filter, the green shades run from pale mint and pistachio through sage, khaki and teal, across rollers, metal venetians, verticals and clip-in no-drill styles. Some are plain and smooth, while others have a woven, mottled or lightly patterned finish. In practice, green is an easy middle ground: softer than grey, less heavy than navy, and useful if you want some colour without the window becoming the whole room. Your advisor can show the shade against your own paint, tiles or flooring at home.
Green blinds sit comfortably with neutral walls, natural wood, black accents and botanical schemes. Softer sages feel easy and understated; brighter mint and pistachio shades look cleaner and more graphic.
Best for
- Adding colour without making the room feel too busy
- Bathrooms, kitchens and conservatories where wipeable or waterproof options matter
- Homes mixing soft greens, warm neutrals, timber tones or darker accents
- Windows and doors that may suit neat fitted or no-drill styles
Worth knowing
- This colour filter includes several blind types, so light control and operation vary a lot from one range to another.
- A few sample products appear to be mis-tagged for colour, with grey or non-green images mixed into the filter.
- Greens shift noticeably between daylight and evening lamp light, so it helps to see samples in the room itself.
How to choose
- 1
Start with the shade of green
The filter spans cool mint and apple tones, softer sage and pistachio, and deeper teal-greens. Pale greens keep things light and fresh; muddier or darker greens feel calmer and more grounded. Hold the shade against wall paint, flooring and nearby wood tones before deciding.
- 2
Match the blind type to the room
Rollers give a flatter block of colour, venetians add a crisp striped look, and verticals suit wider expanses of glass. For bathrooms and kitchens, wipeable or waterproof ranges are often the practical choice. For glazed doors and tilt-and-turn windows, a fitted style may suit better.
- 3
Think about finish as well as colour
Not all green blinds read the same once fitted. Some samples are plain and smooth, others have a woven texture, mottled surface or faint pattern. That surface detail changes how strong the colour feels, especially across a large window or in bright sun.
Green blinds: questions people ask
Are the green blinds on this page all the same shade?
No. This filter groups many greens together, including mint, pistachio, sage, khaki and deeper teal-led tones. Some are cool and fresh, others are softer or earthier. The finish matters too: a smooth metal slat reads differently from a woven or textured roller fabric.
Which green blinds are usually easiest to keep clean?
Metal venetians, PVC styles and wipeable roller fabrics are usually the straightforward options for day-to-day cleaning, especially in kitchens and bathrooms. Slats can be dusted and wipeable surfaces cleaned with a damp cloth. Your advisor can point out the practical ranges in this colour group.
Do green blinds work in small rooms?
Yes, but the shade makes a difference. Pale greens such as mint or soft sage tend to keep a room feeling lighter, while darker teal or khaki tones look more defined and can feel heavier on a small window. Texture also affects this, with matt fabrics usually looking gentler than reflective metal.
Can I get green blinds for doors or full-height glazing?
Often, yes. This filter includes vertical blinds and fitted no-drill styles that are commonly chosen for doors and larger glazed areas. The best option depends on the frame, handle clearance and how the door is used day to day. Your advisor will confirm what suits the opening on the day.
Are green blinds a sensible choice with wood furniture?
Usually, yes. Sage, khaki and pistachio tones tend to sit comfortably with oak, walnut and painted wood, because they have a natural, muted feel. Cleaner mint or teal shades give a sharper contrast. Seeing the sample against your furniture and flooring is the easiest way to judge it properly.

1. Roller and brackets
The fabric winds onto a tube held by two small brackets, inside the recess or on the wall above it. Which one suits your window is settled when it's measured.
Your advisor brings samples of every option to your window, so you can see and feel them before you choose.

Cut to your window, not trimmed to fit
We measure each recess on site and allow for handles, tiles, sills and tilt-and-turn frames before anything is made.

A fabric that looks warm under showroom lighting can read grey at home. Your advisor brings the range to your rooms so you judge it against your walls.
Fitted by the people who sold it
Our own fitter installs, squares up and takes the packaging away. Nothing is subcontracted out and there is no surprise charge at the end.
One year of cover
Fabric, mechanism and fitting are covered by our 1-year guarantee. If a chain or a bracket fails, we come back out and put it right.
Finance options available. We offer flexible ways to pay so a whole-house refresh doesn't have to land in one go. Your advisor will talk you through what's available at your appointment.

Green blinds: your questions answered
How this type behaves in a real room, plus how measuring, fitting and the guarantee work.
Is fitting included in the price?
Yes. The quote you are given covers the product, the fitting and the guarantee. Your fitter hangs everything, checks the operation with you and takes the packaging away.
Who measures the windows?
Your advisor does, on the appointment. That matters for more than convenience: because we take the measurements, the fit is our responsibility rather than yours. Every opening is measured on its own — we never size one window off the one next to it.
What guarantee do I get?
A 1-year guarantee on every blind, shutter and motor we supply and fit. If something goes wrong inside that period, ring the office and we come back out.
Which type of blind suits which room?
Rollers are the simplest and best value and take blackout or dimout fabrics for bedrooms. Romans give a soft, curtain-like fold in living rooms. Venetians and wooden slats let you tilt light rather than just block it, which suits kitchens and studies. Verticals handle wide spans and patio doors. Day & night blinds have alternating stripes so you can trade privacy against light through the day.
